At the Institute for Human Potential, we believe the breath is more than a way to survive. It’s a biological and energetic tool capable of resetting the nervous system, unlocking dormant energy, and reconnecting us with the deeper part of ourselves that modern life so often buries under constant speed and pressure.

There were moments when life felt overwhelming:
A complicated pregnancy where I didn’t know if my child would survive.
A divorce that shattered the foundation I thought I could stand on.
Starting over professionally in a foreign country.
And even before that, my years as a journalist, investigating some of the darkest aspects of humanity, places like Gaza, the devastation of child sexual slavery, the unrelenting intensity of politics, left me carrying the weight of stories that seemed impossible to process.
I’m not a naturally calm person. I have an anxious nature. And yet I made it through, not because life got easier, but because I had something most people have not learned: I knew how to use my breath.
When I was 18, for 6 years I trained with yogis who passed on ancient techniques that felt almost secret at the time. Today, science is finally proving what these practices do to our nervous system, our energy, and even the way we think and lead.
These techniques have carried me through some of the hardest chapters of my life, through every shift, and they can do the same for you, in this changing world.
On October 10, from 6–8 PM -and every second Friday of the month- we have allied with Yoga Ist Berlin, to open a session where we’ll dive into these practices together.
This isn’t about “just relaxing”, -that would already enough-… We will use the breath as a powerful tool to release stress, restore energy, and reconnect with yourself at a level that’s hard to reach alone.
